whp views poetry as the soil of the project. readings of prose, poetry or any type of word-smithing are a way to tap into the energy afoot. writers whose work speaks to the tenets of whp are invited to share their voice with the community. these occurrences take on unique shape based on the curator and the poets selected. gatherings require rsvp and request donation to the project. no one turned away for lack of funds.
